India Post GDS 2026 Second Merit List & Result

Short Information

The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, has released the Second Merit List (Supplementary Result) for the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Recruitment 2026.
Candidates who were not shortlisted in the first list can now check their Registration Number in the 2nd Merit List.
The selection is purely based on the merit of marks obtained in the 10th Class (Matriculation) board examination.
The result is available circle-wise (state-wise) in PDF format on the official GDS engagement portal.

Visit the official India Post GDS online portal at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
On the left side of the homepage, go to the "Shortlisted Candidates" or "Supplementary List II" section.
Click on your respective State / Postal Circle (e.g., UP, Bihar, MP, Rajasthan).
A PDF file will open on your screen containing the names of the shortlisted candidates.
Press Ctrl + F and enter your Registration Number to search for your result.
If your number is in the list, note down the Document Verification (DV) division and the last date to report.

3	Original Medical Certificate from a Government Hospital Medical Officer
4	Original Identity Proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID)
5	PWD Certificate (Only for Divyang Candidates)

Note: Shortlisted candidates must report for document verification to the Heading Authority mentioned against their names in the result PDF before the stipulated deadline. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their candidature.
